Before You Start: Prerequisites

Phase 2 assumes teachers have completed Phase 1 (or have equivalent AI tool fluency).

1

Phase 1 Completed

Teacher is comfortable using Google Gemini, NotebookLM, Diffit, SmartEdu, Edcafe AI for daily teaching tasks. View Phase 1 →

2

NCERT Textbook Familiarity

Teacher should know the NCERT/CBSE curriculum for the class they teach (5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10). We don't teach the textbook — we show how to layer AI projects onto it.

3

Smartphone or Laptop

Required for live sessions (Zoom/Meet), accessing curriculum materials, watching module walkthroughs, and submitting practice work.

4

4 Hours / Week Commitment

90 min live session + 30 min weekly prep + 90 min practice = ~3.5-4 hours per week. Drops to 2 hours/week after Week 8.

What Happens in Each 90-Minute Session

Every week follows the same predictable rhythm so teachers know exactly what to expect.

0-15 min

Recap & Context

Quick review of last week's class + framing what we're learning today. Why this class matters in the bigger curriculum picture.

15-45 min

Module Walkthrough

Trainer demonstrates the actual class as a student would see it. Aira video clips, PPT slides, project setup. Teacher learns the content first.

45-60 min

Teaching Notes

Now we flip — how to deliver this class as a TEACHER. Where students get stuck, common misconceptions, project rubric, time management tips.

60-90 min

Live Doubt Clearing

Open Q&A. Teachers ask anything: pedagogy, content, tools, classroom management. Trainer + peer answers. Recorded for replay.

Sample Doubt Session Topics

Real questions teachers ask in our cohorts — and the kind of answers you'll get.

"What if students don't get the project on first try?"
→ We share the 'fallback project' for each module — a simpler version. Plus, we teach you how to spot which step they're stuck on.
"How do I handle a student who finishes the project in 10 minutes?"
→ Every module has 'stretch challenges' — advanced extensions for fast finishers. We walk through them in Week 4.
"My class has 50+ students. How does this work for me?"
→ Group work strategies, peer-grading workflows, AI-assisted feedback at scale. Week 8 dedicates 20 min to large-class delivery.
"I don't know Python. Can I teach Class 8 Module 7?"
→ Yes. The module is designed for non-coders to teach. We provide step-by-step facilitator scripts. You don't write Python — you guide students who do.
"What if parents ask why we're using AI in school?"
→ Week 13 covers parent communication. We provide a 1-page parent letter template + FAQ + sample WhatsApp message.
"How do I grade a capstone project fairly?"
→ Week 8 + Round 3 mock both cover capstone grading. We use a 4-criteria rubric: Concept, Build Quality, Presentation, Reflection.

Phase 2 FAQ

Can I take Phase 2 without Phase 1?

Technically yes, but we strongly recommend Phase 1 first. Phase 2 assumes you're comfortable with the AI tools we cover in Phase 1 (Gemini, NotebookLM, Diffit, Edcafe AI). If you're already fluent in these tools, you can skip Phase 1 — but most teachers benefit from doing both.

What if I miss a week?

Every session is recorded and uploaded within 24 hours. You can watch it on your own time. The doubt-clearing portion is also recorded. You won't fall behind unless you miss the mock delivery weeks (9-11) — those require live participation.

Do I need to know Python?

No. The curriculum is designed for non-coder teachers. Python modules (Class 8 M7) come with full facilitator scripts. Students do the coding; you guide and assess. We cover this in Week 5.

How big are the cohorts?

15-25 teachers per cohort. Small enough that everyone gets doubt-clearing time, large enough for peer learning. Schools with 20+ teachers get a dedicated cohort.

Can my whole department take this together?

Yes — and we encourage it. Schools that train teachers in groups see faster adoption. Group enrollments get a dedicated trainer and customized scheduling.

What happens after certification?

You join the WiseTribes Certified Instructor network. Free annual refresher when curriculum updates. Listed in our directory if parents/schools search for AI teachers. Priority for advanced training (when we launch it).

How is delivery different for CBSE schools?

Phase 2 follows CBSE / NCERT alignment. Every project maps to specific NCERT textbook chapters. Open-book exam preparation built into Week 6. SARAS 6.0 assessment training in Week 8.
